Would RecommendWhen I opened this it was clearly a return because the package had been stapled closed. Sure enough, when I put it together it was missing two washers. So frustrating because it's a lack of quality control on the part of Lowe's. I just had to make it work.
The universal solution
Would RecommendI always thought these brackets came with the planter but this universal adapting set works great. It comes with two different shapes to fit where it's being placed, and the base extends to hold any size planter.
Brackets are too weak to support window boxes!
Each pair of brackets will only support on 8-10 pounds! I bought two 42 inch window boxes. According to a conversation with a lawn & garden associate at my local Lowe’s store revealed that I would need 8 or 10 brackets to support my window boxes. You need to offer a stronger product!

Flush window seals only
The product does not work if the window seal isn't flush with the frame. However it was the only option available at the store

Needs a shim
Would RecommendIm on board with the other comments, suuper easy to put together but I will DEFINITELY need to make a shim, right now I have plastic from the packaging acting as one. The hardware will definitely need to be replaced eventually, and the planter is tilted downwards, the bolts will slide if you yank them too hard, but overall I do like this product! I gave 3 stars just because I live in an apt and making a shim is going to be a PAIN. However it does the job and I do like how renter friendly it is!
