Would Not RecommendThese brackets don't fit all railings. I think the design is a bit problematic. I also don't recommend ordering by mail. My package clearly had been damaged in shipment, with loose hardware all over the shipping box. Other reviews seem to express a similar experience.
Reasonable for the price
I had to shim these to get them close to level. I also had to add a piece of wood across the bottom of the brackets for the same purpose

Make sure the store has everything you need.
First of all, after picking out the window box planters I learn the store had no brackets to hang them on. Next , I have to order them and wait 4 days to receive them only to find out they will not work. So all in all it was an unpleasant and unsuccessful experience.
