Simple and practical solution

It was easy to install and thus far has stopped squirrels, chipmunks, and raccoons from raiding my mom’s bird feeders that has two larger feeders on top of a T-shaped mounting pole. Although not providing as good of a show 🤣that we were previously trying to resolve issue with Vaseline or Crisco on the pole which made for some good episodes in the ongoing battle.

Squirrel deterrent.

This product worked out great. We used to lose a lot of birdseed to the squirrels. Now they don’t even try.

Keeps out chipmunks too!

I have a shepherd hook feeder, but the baffle worked. Chipmunks averted.

This is one of the few squirrel baffles that actually fits a 1/2" pole right out of the box. Most are at least 2/3" dia or greater pole. My only issue was with the 1/2" pole, the screws were so long on the clamp that they hit the baffle and kept it from resting on the tapered top of the clamp, so it often hung a bit crooked off the ends of the screws. The screws are 10x24 by probably 1 1/2" long. You could use shorter screws, but I just cut about 1/2" off both screws and it works perfectly. It ...

It actually works!!

I've been terrorized by the squirrels this summer and tried everything to keep them off my bird feeder, even greasing down the pole it hangs from! They still always were able to get to the feeder. This has stopped them in their tracks.

WORKS LIKE A CHARM

Mounted about 4’ off of the ground. Not a single squirrel in the feeder for 2 weeks.

Does the job. Would like it better if the opening could be made to close more.
