I was skeptical that the squirrel guard would work. After looking at the other options being offered by other stores, smaller diameter and plastic, I settled on the one sold by Lowes, which is metal and a much larger diameter. After three weeks of being installed the squirrels have given up! Now they just pick the seeds off the ground the birds drop. I highly recommend!

The squirrel can still get to bird feeder he climbs polehold on jumps to top of pole and hang on eating upside down then i saw it jump from fence to this and grab pole i dont think anything will keep squirrels away

Would RecommendWe have two bird feeders that squirrels enjoyed a gymnastics routine on and then devoured the bird seed. A cone on each of the bird feeder stand and now they just stare at it. No access to the bird food. Love it
