Lightweight, high-vis - perfect to just give a heads up to drivers little kiddo's are out playing in the area nearby.

Only does one job

This kid just stands there all day holding a flag. Doesn't complain about being tired or the flag getting heavy. Has odd proportions for a human though.

Share a driveway with our son and daughter-in-law who have a 3-year-old son and another on the way. I have a business that brings a lot of traffic through the driveway and this lets them know to be aware of children playing and to be very cautious.

Terrific Idea

We saw one of these in our neighborhood and observed first hand how visible and clever a warning sign it is to passing motorists. We bought two--one for in front of our yard and one for in front of our neighbor's yard across the street. They are highly effective at signalling drivers to slow down.The fact that you only put them out when the kids are playing outside means that motorists don't become accustomed to seeing (and ignoring) them the way they get used to seeing "Children at Play" street...

Worth It

Great product. Use for 8 yr old son and friends who skate and ride bikes in front of the house. I put one on each side of the street. I know when I see them I slow down so I feel these are worth every penny. Any extra measures we can use to protect our kids is crucial.

HE IS VERY STURDY

This product is very sturdy. We filled the base with water and he does not fall over even on windy days. This is a must have safety product for children who ride bikes in their driveway. Cars do not enter or turn around in our driveway when we place "slow man" at the entrance.

A Good Product

A bit difficult to put the two pieces together - took a lot of force and some olive oil to allow the two sections to slide into one another. After that, no problem!

Great for the neighborhood

All of the kids play in my neighborhood my child is the youngest of 18months but she runs with the best of them. I use these when the neighborhood kids are out to play

We live on a very busy and dangerous school crossing route. We have set the safety sams up on both sides of the crosswalk. It helps with the crosswalk visibility and slows people down. They have become very well known in our area. Only down side is people steal them all the time. There was one missing again this morning. ARGHHH!! It gets expensive replacing them and can be a bit of a pain to find them where we live. But, they are worth it. We have tried so many signs etc to slow people down but...

very useful, people seem to respond

bright, visible, drivers seem to pay attention to it. we have it at the edge of our driveway and put it out when we play basketball.very happy with it, easy to put together and looks like it will be sturdy.only drawback so far is that it comes with a red warning flag that comes rolled up and so far has not straigntened out.
