We live in a cul-de-sac, and my grandkids like to ride their 4wheelers and bicycles in the circle...this product helps to alert drivers they need to look for kids...it has SLOWED down my neighbors.

Child at Play

I think it’s great - bright, good size, obviously catches your eye. Most people slow down but there are still others that just don’t care. I would recommend this purchase if your kids play in the front yard/sidewalk.

Little Green Slow-It-Down Dude...

The minute we assembled this little green dude and set it up in the street, the traffic in our 25 miles per hour speed limit in-town road, just a block away from an elementary school, the traffic actually took notice and slowed their vehicles down to the speed limit. Thank You Little Green Dude !

Slows'em down!

We live in the middle of our street, so vehicles are traveling at their fastest speed when passing our driveway. We placed this out in the street the day we bought it, and every passing car slowed considerably. Also, do yourself a favor and buy a bag of play sand with which to fill the base. You have the option of using water, but the cap does not seal, so there was always leakage, and we found ourselves constantly refilling. If you are set on using water, I wound recommend using a cap full of b...

Really catches the eye to slow cars as they approach playing children!

Good but would be improved w/reflective material

Purchased to put at the end of the driveway while the kids are waiting for the bus. 4 stars because I feel it should have some sort of reflective material on it, otherwise it's good for intended purpose. I added a few strips of reflective tape so it catches drivers' attention early morning when it's still dark and the kids are by the road waiting.

Love our new KidAlert "Leo"

We needed an alert for our private road, letting visitors know our grandkids are playing in the area. This worked perfectly for us. Well made, bright colors and we named him "Leo!" Thank you shipping so promptly.

Eye-catching

Had both contractors and grandchildren visit at same time. Putting the turtle out let the contractors in their trucks to PAY ATTENTION! The kids loved it and had photos taken with "grandpa's Yertl".

Helps keep our kids safe!

Very pleased with this purchase. We use it at the end of the driveway when the kids are outside and crossing the road back and forth to the neighbor’s. Definitely needs sand or other weight in the bottom to keep it from tipping over! The kids named it Charlie - so anytime we play in the front yard, “Charlie” has to play too :) The neighbors in our cul de sac slow down when they see him, so it’s working like it should!

Haven't Been Able to Use It!

For something that should be simple to use, it is very difficult to even get it to be functional. Not only is it impossible to fit the body into the base, but the lid to keep the water in the base doesn't even fit into the opening. Sad that we haven't even been able to use it.

CAUTION SLOW DOWN

Product is has good bright colors. made very well and can be used anytime of the year and season. Will be ordering product with little girl and her dog too. Little boy has done his job of slowing down cars and trucks when they see it and flag too
