My favorite size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the 16ft tape. Its small and light enough not to bother you but will also be long enough 90% of the time. Stanley has always made great tape measures and this is no exception. Extra coating on the most used parts and the fatmax gives a bit more stand out than the normal stanley powerlock

Strong magnet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The magnet is very strong which makes it great for measuring steel studs from top track to bottom track. The 13' stand out is also a great feature.

Best tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite tape measure the weight is perfect it doesn’t pull your pants down. It is still the old style small mouth with little play the magnet is stronger than any other tape out there. The end of the tape is small not big and bulky and it doesn’t have holes in it for things to get caught in. Stand out is excellent has the old belt clip which I like better. Nice tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really good tape. I like the stand out length. I. Like how the numbers etc are easy to read. I love the clip....so much nicer then some other brands. Only issue i had was the magnet pulled off I ws ab Le to put it back on, but it possible one could lose it.

Excellent Tape Measure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To begin, I was a little dubious about the magnet tape end. But in use, it has proven to be invaluable! A recent project was made much easier using this feature, installing a round planter wall for a flagpole. The extra wide tape is stiff (you'll have to try it to believe it!!) and exceptionally easy to read!!

Excellent scale markings!!

First off it's got a great thickness and heft to the tape so it's very strong and durable. Next the scale markings are excellent. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes sir , classic industry leading tool with magnetic attachment. It's hard to imagine how they could improve on a product that is already the best out there....but in this case they nailed it......a must have for any metal worker.

Easy to see

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I been using this Fatmax for measuring new floor molding around the family room. With the numbers so large so easy to read with out the bifocals. espically in the shadow corners, the stand out feature of the tape at 11 feet is great,

25-ft Fatmax Magnetic Tape measure is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] up until a few weeks ago, I'd been using a Stanley tape measure that had been handed down to me from my father 20 years ago. And it always worked great. However, when I got the FATMAX Magnetic Tape I was even more impressed with it -- and how the wider tape is less prone to bending while taking measurements. The magnetic tip on it was another plus (I even use it pick up a dropped bolt).

All around great tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not the first time using this tape measure. I have used this tape at work before and was very happy with the features and durability. I work for an international leading Hot Dip Galvanizer. The magnetic tip is very useful for making measurements on steel material and products. The tape measure is very durable in this dirty environment and the large markings and numbers make it easy to read.

Best tape on the market

Great tape but.....

I only have two complaints the first is that the houseing on the tape is made of what feels like kind of a cheap plastic. I feel as though it would not be hard to change to a harder more durable plastic. My second complaint is the design of the magnet on the front of the tape it seems to me like when they were designing it they had forgot to put a magnet on it and just we...

Love the magnetic Tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It literally stands out 10 to 12 feet without buckling. Markings are clear and precise. The construction is robust, I predict mine will be in service for many years. Love the magnetic tip. Given the hundreds of tapes on the market, this one is a superior product and a great value.

better all around

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an avid user of stanley brand tape measures. This one has a lot of the features they had in the past. The one thing that stood out to me was the lock for the tape, it is easier to engage and doesnt let the tape slide.

Great tape
