Overall I really like the feel and quality of the product, but I specifically got a magnetic tape measure for long distance conduit measurements. The magnet separated on day two.

The tape measure is large and easy to handle - no tape lips or flimsy case to worry about. The tape is wide and sturdy. A breeze to use and it is my go to tape measure.

Best Tape Measure Out There!

I bought my FATMAX 25ft. Magnetic Tape a few months ago and it is one of my most used tools! It has great standout, is very accurate and has easy to see marks and numbers. The wide, magnetic tip is very strong and won’t let go until you need it to. The FATMAX body is very durable. I’ve even dropped it off of a ladder twice and it doesn’t have any damage! This is the best tape measure out there.

It held tight when measuring from many feet away. I like the big bold numbers it has. Clip great in my tool belt. Would recommend this to anyone needing one.

Very nice tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is terrific. The magnet is really nice, especially when we put a tin roof on our machine shed. Made the job go so much faster not having the tape slip off the end Fell off a 20 foot overhang and didnt even scratch it. Heavily built, very capable, and easy to read.

Solid Tape Measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this for about a week and find it to be a good solid tape measure. Retraction is good and has a pretty far reach without support. Numbers are nice and large as well. Magnetic tip is smaller than other but still works well.

A Different Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stanley FATMAX Magnetic Tape measure is an interesting product in several regards. The tape is wide and easier to read if you are looking at it from a distance or if you are visually impaired like me. The large enclosure with a rubber grips on the exterior makes the product easy to handle and it almost can't slip out of your hands even if your hands are oily, sweaty or wet. Having the magnetic tip makes layout on long steel projects so much easier i wish i had bought one years ago. Great tool to keep in house

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this tool to measure wood and make some cuts and it has been very useful to me, it is very accurate and it has a very good grip in addition to having the magnet tip in case you have to measure iron, it is definitely a tool that you should not miss when making very precise measurements

Great for solo projects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great for when Im working on projects alone, I can send this tape out 8 ft without having to worry about it cracking which saves some valuable time having to remeasure. On top of that its accurate (I always check a new tape against my favorite ruler) and there isnt any play in the hook which, isnt a huge deal, but its nice to be able to put it against a wall and not have to compensate that little bit of hook movement.

Superb heavy-duty measure, super strong magnet!

I was skeptical of how handy the magnet would be, figuring it would flake out at more than a few feet, but this is super strong - so strong, in fact, that items weighing less than 10 pounds sometimes get dragged along when trying to splay out the tape!

Magnetic tip...who knew?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is great. The magnet on the tip of the tape is strong and makes working by yourself a breeze. The tape itself is strong and doesn't kink like you'd see on the cheapo tape measure you have in your toolbox. My only complaint would be the button to lock the tape is kind of hard to push down. It's probably not the tape's fault, its American made. No one pushes around America. All in all a great unit and a great addition to your too...
