[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to honest this was my husbands tape measure but now it’s mine. I like the look and feel of this tape measure. The numbers are really easy to read and it is just the right length to measure all the things around the house. My husband does a lot of wood cutting around the house and I can also help him measure all that as well. So easy to use.

Best and only tape i will use

My grandfathers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this tape for 40 years working as a super on the Bronx NY with my grandfather. It was his tape I inherited. Still works like it's brand new. Quality tool. Gives me great memories

strong robust tape measure

Quality built & long lasting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Stanley tape measurer was passed down from my father & is still completely functional today. We built our house in the late 1970’s with this tool & I still use it today. Sure, it has some scratches & dings from the years of use but it works as good as new. I highly recommend Stanley products for professionals & diy users. Stanley products are the best quality & value available.

BEST NAME AROUND MEASURES UP TO ANY PROJECT

Hands down best tape measure

Whether building a deck or making fine furniture, the Powerlock is reliable and easy to find in the shop. My father has always used the classic Powerlock and I know why. Only good products stand the test of time.

America’s tape measure

Very sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a sturdy an unbreakable tape measure. It rolled off the side of a small cliff while the tape was out in the locked position. It was totally fine still! I’ve had it for years and it’s still in great condition. Honestly might last a lifetime!

Inside spring action failed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this often, but after a bit, maybe about a month later, the inner spring action wasn't cooling the tape measure. I opened it up, but one can't really go inside to decompress the spring within the plastic piece, so it was junked and finished at this point. I will probably check other varieties of tape measure within Stanley. I think this one needs a redesign assessment

Generational favorite

Lasts forever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandfather was a master carpenter, he worked 1940s - 1980. I now do carpentry, one of the few tools the survived his career was a metal Stanley tape measure, on of the first tools I bought for my own everyday use was a Stanley powerlock tape, this tool was built to last

Best Tape on the market
