My wife is in rehab from a hip operation. When she comes home she will find a Security Pole next to her bed to help her get up. Since we live in a rental in a retirement community I hesitate using the pole as the instructions recommend so I am cutting a 3/4 plywood floor plate and bolting your Base Plate to it. Love this Pole

Bought this for my 94 yr old mom who is suffering from a stroke. She is now able to stand up with the help from me and the security pole. Can't tell you how much this helps me and my knees and back as well. Thanks to you for making her safe. The tension bar was great as I did not have to put screws in my ceiling or my hard wood floor. Security Pole

I would buy this item again, but made the mistake of not realizing the curved grab bar did not come with product, it is just a security pole.. I was able to assemble it myself (72 year old lady) in a short amount of time. The pole is very sturdy, used in bathroom with 10 foot ceilings.

We bought two and they are working nicely

Roberta, my wife, has Parkinsons and moves slowly with a lot of stiffness. We put up bars in all three bathrooms, but needed the security poles also to help her get in and out of the shower or walk-in bathtub. We have not had them installed very long, but they are working well.

EASY UP AND OUT

At 91 and with leg pain, I needed help to get out of a low bed that needed to remain low for my wife. The pole does the trick--I can easily pull myself up and out!

I installed the security pole to assist my husband getting in and out of bed at night. It was easy to set-up; tools were included. I'm considering purchasing another one for the bathroom. This company makes great products for Parkinson's patients!

INGENIOUS!

I bought this pole for a relative to use while visiting my home. There is no place to install a grab bar in my bathroom, and this was the perfect fix for secure toilet access in tight quarters.

Minor issues

Installed the pole next to my wife's hospital bed. The threaded section was very tight in the mating part. A little filing and some WD-40 solved the problem. The pole is sturdy and should assist my wife to sit at the edge of the bed.
