Would RecommendSome time ago, we bought one of these for our brother who has MS and Parkinsons. He can now safely get in and out of his bathtub and support himself showering. Now, our sister-in-law is in chemotherapy and weak. We have now bought a second Stander security pole for her shower.

Cant get along without them
I have three of the Security Poles now. I often wonder how I got along without them. My knees are bad and the Security Pole lets me get up from a low chair without a lot of pain.

I can move and dress myself
I was introduced to the security pole while in a nursing home recovering from a stroke/seizures. I had it installed next to my bed as it was in the nursing home. Now I can get in or out of bed by myself. This frees me of the necessity of calling for nursing support in order to go to the bathroom/move about the apartment/or dress myself. Thank you for your product.

Would RecommendI bought the security pole for my wife, who has Parkinsons Disease. (I actually bought and installed two of them.)I am really pleased with it (them). It was easy to install and is very sturdy. My wife has problems with falling and I have/had to watch her very closely when she stands. The stander pole lets her stand by herself and get her balance when moving to her wheelchair from the bed or toilet. Some of the other things we tried were either not stable enough or were kind of complicated to set...
