Would RecommendThis oven thermometer is basically the same one I have used for years. It has a flat base, allowing it to stand up on a cookie sheet or shallow pan. The tab at the top provides a means to suspend the thermometer from a rack. The face of the unit is readily visible through a glass window, if the oven is so equipped. These are very reliable and inexpensive to purchase, providing verification of your oven's temperature settings.

Would RecommendResponse time is a bit slow. Set the thermometer inside and set the oven temperature to 375 degree in our new Samsung gas range to bake a bread. After the pre-heating stage, when the oven temp reached 375 degree, the thermometer showed 350. After about 6 minutes, the thermometer showed 375. After another 10 minutes, it showed around 355 degree. But my oven temperature was steady at 375 (at least that's what the display showed) So, I can't say for sure if it is my oven or the thermometer. But it...
