Seed worth trying
Would RecommendThis brand seed is wonderful. Fast germinating in my sun and shade areas. Ive tried others in past and Sta Green wins hands down. We spread in later July and very happy with results. This seed you can do in Fall and Spring. Fall spread we had high 60s 70s temps. We spread dirt over the area first, needed it. Kept moist. Mother nature did some of the watering in August.

Would RecommendI am doing an extensive rehab of my lawn, and am now working on filling in some stubborn spots. I actually had to request a no-quibble refund from Scotts, after seeing no sprouting even after several weeks. I had used the Sta-Green in smaller sizes, so I got this bag to finish the job through the Fall. I am pleased with the results of the smaller bags, so while it is too soon for a complete review on this bag, I do not expect it to be any different.
