I have a 10,000 sq. area that I fertilize and I made the conscience decision that I would have to refill the spreader multiple times. It did fine, but the weight of the spreader with fertilizer got pretty heavy after awhile. I'm ok with that, since I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a push spreader. This spreader is easy to adjust to allow more or less fertilizer flow. The crank did get stuck a few times, but a small inconvenienc...
