The setup was fairly simple with the app and I was also able to link it to my Google Home so it controls the light as well. It was automatically imported once linked with the device name and now it has full voice control. The app also is great with giving energy usage and you can create schedules for turning on or off the switch which works great with the Christmas tree.

I’ve chosen to plug in a lamp into my outlet so I can control the light from the other side of the living room without leaving my seat. Works okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this two weeks ago. I followed directions and plugged it in, downloaded the app and set it to work. Unfortunately, the app the does not work as well as it should. It turns on the plug but not all the time. I think it is supposed to work with Alexa, but I cannot figure it out. But it works well enough to be of some use. I have hope that app will work better soon.

Easy to use but setup has a few issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this primarily as a timer for a lamp and it works great so far. It took 3 tries to get the app to setup the outlet and it uses it's own app. Once the setup is done, setting up a schedule is not intuitive at first. After some frustration I figured it out and it's been working perfectly. I hope they iron out the issues with the app soon to make it easier for new purchasers.
