Couldn’t get it to work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn’t get this Wi-Fi plug to work. I followed the directions and even double check and I couldn’t get it to connect to the Wi-Fi. When I would try to connect it would disconnect from all other networks and it would kick all other items hooked to the Wi-Fi off of the network

I like that you can control your devices with your phone. I would absolutely recommend this product to others

Very handy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is pretty cool. I use it to control my Christmas lights. I didn’t have any issues at all with connecting to my network. I don’t like that I have to download another app to control it but in all reality, how else could you do it? I also found out that it works as a WiFi booster. I couldn’t get WiFi at my office outbuilding and after I plugged my lights into it I suddenly had signal. BONUS!!! Anyway, I like it so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a timely addition to my home as I use it to automatically turn on and off my christmas tree lights on a timer. The app was easy to use on my phone and set up with a schedule so I don't have to think about it and can save energy. I wish it connected to Apple Homekit, but it does not.

Great tool to monitor energy usage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great tool to monitor all sorts of electric loads. I had no idea how much electricity my humidifier used until plugging it into this. Currently I have this hooked up to my Christmas tree to see how much electricity it's using.

It’s a little tricky to set up as you have to download a new app and then it doesn’t seem super intuitive to get going. However, after we navigated the setup process, it’s really great. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This plug-in is really nice. I used it on my on my toaster over. Just plug it in outlet, then plug in appliance, and it will connect to Wi-Fi. Dowdload app and follow instructions. Now test it. I can put a frozen lunch in my oven, go to work, and open app at work and start oven. My lunch is ready when I get home for lunch. Handy!! Thanks for such a handy product. I got one for my Mom, and she loves it.

The only issue I had is that it should have came with a hole cover for a 3 hole sink. Had to go to the home improvement store to purchase one that was close in color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] when we first got the15 Amp Wi-Fi outlet we had a little trouble getting it to connect to our Wi-Fi. once we got it to connected it worked pretty well. we also got it connected with Alexa and that wasn't to difficult. besides initial problem getting it on the Wi-Fi it's working well.

Perfect for controlling lights and energy use

I have been looking for a plug which I can turn the holiday trees on and off by a touch of a button and ensure I'm not spending too much on energy with the rising energy costs over this season. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a high tech person and I was able to get the Square D - wi-fi 15amp plug-in outlet energy monitor and the Wiser Home app that goes with it all set up without any help. The device came with a QR code that I used to download the app onto my phone. Next I plugged the monitor into a kitchen outlet and pressed the power button until the green light started blinking quickly. Once the monitor connected to our wifi the green light stayed on...

Works but need a new app to use it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took a bit to get it to sync with the app which was frustrating and still not sure why it suddenly worked. Once it's synced it works just fine but you can't link it with Alexa or anything we have so it's on it's own system. Not a huge deal but not as convenient as I'd like. Once you get everything up and running it seems to be fine.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The concept of this product is pretty cool, even for someone who isn't totally on board with Alexa, etc.. The directions/set up is pretty straightforward and was clearly designed for folks with any level of comfort with technology. Unfortunately, though, even after trying multiple times, I could not get this to sync with my internet service, so I wasn't able to get it to work. Very disappointed.

Cool plug that can be controlled remotely

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a cool plug that can be useful for certain appliances that you might want to turn on/off remotely while away. The plug connects to Wi-fi which is then controlled via the app. I wanted to use it for a space heater that sometimes I forget to shut off but unforunately it wouldn't work for the plug for some reason. What a bummer. So instead, I plugged in a floor lamp. For someone who's away often and wants to have control over appliances, etc....

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This plug is easy to use and it is also convenient. You plug it into an outlet and then it is a smart outlet and you can plug other things into it. I like to use it for lamps and lights. It makes it easy to turn them on and off especially when I forget to do it and don’t want to get up to do it.
