Would RecommendReplaced my 16 yr. old Square D 30-50 pressure switch. Decided to up the pressure, went with a larger pressure tank. Anyway, after initial install had a slight scare. Had my wife flip breaker on, after I got it all wired up and the sparks fell. Must have been sticking contacts. It's been fine since about 2 wks. ago. Pressure is dead on 40-60. Hope it last as long as my old one.
Perfect
Would RecommendHigh quality and simple-to-use. Had the job done in 20 minutes
Square D 40/60-PSI Plastic Exterior Pressure Switc

Worth every penny
Would RecommendTried to save a few bucks a year and a half ago by replacing a 15 year old square D pressure switch with a Chinese knock off that looked similar. Big mistake. The knock off failed miserably. Replaced again with this robust Square D switch today. I expect to get another 15 Years from this unit. The quality is evident
Easy to install
Would RecommendCover comes off with contained nut, connections well marked with double pole single throw.
Perfect replacement
Would RecommendThis was easy to install and was preset to proper pressure
Easy install, well made
Would RecommendThis product was installed by my contractor. I was well packed, appears to be well made, and was very easy for him to install.
Square D pressure switch
Would RecommendBought the switch today and suggest changing pressure switch at same time. Turn power to pump off, drain lines by turning faucets on. Use garden hose and drain pressure tank. I tagged electrical lines from left to right (1-4) as I unhooked each wire to duplicate wiring hookup in assembly of new switch. Remove switch with wrench slowly. Wrap new threads with plumping tape to avoid leaks. Don't over tighten but get it snug to avoid leaks. Make sure to wire in sequence on tagged wires (1-4) and ins...
Works perfect
Would RecommendEasy to install. Pump comes on and off now as it should.
Easy Install
Have no idea how old this same switch was on our well water system, but house built in 77. Finally failed and started a pin hole leak at the attachment point. Pressure function still worked, but H20 on the basement floor is a non-starter. Easy install, no plumber required. Back up in operation.
Replacing tank, switch, and guage
Would RecommendThe old Square D switch was still working. Had to replace the pressure tank as the bladder burst and the pressure gauge hadn't worked for years so even though the switch was still good, decided to swap out all three. The new switch was adjusted perfectly, cut on at exactly 40psi and off at 60psi.
Retired Handyman
Would RecommendSimple install and works great. Hopefully this will last 25+ years like the last Square D pressure switch.
Excellent switch
Would RecommendSquare D makes good switches. China or US whatever. It works. Easy wiring diagram on top of cover. Bullet proof.
Pressure Switch
Would RecommendI thought I'd have to go to an electrical supply to get this pressure switch. I checked at Lowes online and they had the exact switch I needed. I ordered and paid for it online and it was ready for pickup in an hour. Switch is exactly what I needed and it works perfectly. Shuts off at 60 psi and turns on at 40 psi. This switch when wired is water resistant. I would recommend this switch for anyone with a deep well submergeable pump
