Would RecommendPicked up an 8 hole set. The Carbide is very nice in holding edge for boring wood and soft Al. I like that the core easy to eject on the set provided the slots and ability to remove center bit aids this. Overall a nice set especially if picked up on sale.

Cuts through lumber like a butter
Would RecommendI needed it to bore holes in wooden framing in order to run some PVC plumbing through it. Cuts like butter! Hard carbide with a long life span.
Perfect for drilling through steel.
Would RecommendI couldn't believe the way that this hole saw was penatrating through a 1/4" piece of steel with no problems. It worked well with a bit of oil to make a hole.

Mixed experience
Quick cut but be cautious. Probably best to use in a drill press. Tried using a pilot bit on a hand-held drill to keep the cutter from jumping all over the place at the start. Bent one pilot and broke two others. Aggressive cutter and difficult to start clean hole in 2x6 pine but great ones it's started. Let the bit do the work and it's an awesome tool.

Would RecommendTried two other brands to cut through 306 stainless sheet with no success. Spyder cut through like it was butter.
