What Customers Are Saying
The Spyder Diamond Edge Hole Saw Bit has mixed performance. It works well initially, cutting clean and smooth holes, but the diamond coating tends to wear off quickly, making the bit ineffective after just a few uses. It performs best on softer materials like ceramic and glass, but struggles with tougher surfaces like porcelain tile and granite. Using water to keep the bit cool and lubricated during drilling can help extend its lifespan. The bit's slotted design helps prevent clogging.

Would RecommendCan't speak to percaline but this is all you need for ceramic. I had 32 holes to bore in a brand new shower and it was the glazed wavy tile which added an uneasy factor but there was no problem.. No problems at all. Cut number 32 just as fast as number one. I did go slow and kept it irrigated. For ceramic at least there's no need for the Milwaukee.
Easy to use on a drill!
Would RecommendI am installing tile for a shower. This thing cut through the porcelain tile like butter! Ok, it was a little harder than that but, worked great!

Did the job for drainage holes
Would RecommendUsed this diamond drill bit to cut a drainage hole in my ceramic pots for my plants. It worked well but was kind of small for my use and drilled just fine.

Junk
Would Not RecommendI used this hole saw to attempt to cut a hole in a floor tile. The bid made it about 1/8" into the tile before it stopped cutting. Not worth the money,
front coating weak
Would Not Recommenddiamond coating in front of the bit wore out after two holes. slow to drill. found an old bit that drilled 4x faster. used on ceramic tile.
