What Customers Are Saying
The Spyder Diamond Edge Hole Saw Bit has mixed performance. It works well initially, cutting clean and smooth holes, but the diamond coating tends to wear off quickly, making the bit ineffective after just a few uses. It performs best on softer materials like ceramic and glass, but struggles with tougher surfaces like porcelain tile and granite. Using water to keep the bit cool and lubricated during drilling can help extend its lifespan. The bit's slotted design helps prevent clogging.

Garbage
Would Not RecommendBought this to drill through some porcelain tile and it burned up halfway through the first hole. Lenox and Diablo are good for at least 12-15 holes through porcelain tile.

Not deep enough to cut > 1”l
Would RecommendIt cuts very nicely but it’s not deep enough for anything over 1-1/16”…my counter is approx 1.25” thick and I ran out of bit depth with 1/16” material remaining. Had to buy a second cheap diamond cutter with more depth to finish the job.
Cuts well
Would RecommendAs described
Useless Product with POOR QUALITY
Totally useless drill bit, the diamond coating wears off in 10 seconds with water cooling it, and went through several bits to drill a few holes. I wouldn’t even give it one star if it was possible, I want my money back.

Worked great
Would RecommendWorked great but read directions first. You have to start at an angle then drill down the top
I would not recommend this product.
Would Not RecommendProduct wears out completely after two holes are drilled in tile compared to the Lennox brand which can do 6-8 holes without wearing out. Very poor quality.

Possibly Faulty Bit
Would Not RecommendI purchased this for my granite countertop. I used cool water to make sure the bit would not get too hot and be damaged. However, this bit never made it more than 1/2 inch into my countertop. I had to go purchase a second one which went through the countertop just fine. I think the first one was faulty. A bummer you can’t return this type of faulty item once used.
