Nice blades, work really well

The Spyder - Black Series 14 Pack Bi Metal Set wood/metal cutting reciprocating saw blades work really well. I was impressed at how well they cut through the wooden pallet. It went through the nail easily and did not bend the blade. Very good packaging and you'll need scissors or a knife to cut it open. It comes with it's own Spyder blade carrying case for the blades. Miracle blades

These blades are great! Had left over 2x4 and 2x6 studs and supports.These combo wood and metal blades cut through both the wood and nails no problem. A must for any tool set!

very smooth

There are some smooth cutting blades. No jumping around or skipping while trying to start cut. Clean cuts on both wood (during a demolition) and metal on a small build helping a friend. The longer blades will take a bend while cutting along a surface.

A great blade kit with a nice case

The blades felt very sturdy and a little heavy. They cut through these walnut tree branches in no time and was more convenient than using a chain saw for this little bit of trimming. None of the noise was coming from the blade, just the saw itself. The teeth were very sharp.

Spyder makes great products and these 14 blades with carrying case are no exception to that. These fit my Ryobi reciprocating saw with no issues and cut plenty of nails and wood quickly and easily. I did not cut any stronger metal but I have no doubt these could cut that with no issue also. You get six different types of blades for cutting wood with nails, and metal, with different combinations of length and teeth per inch. Best part... they're Made in the USA! These will be my go to blades...

Great multi-pack of reciprocating saw blades

I recently bought my first reciprocating saw and it did not come with blades. I was looking for a general multi-purpose pack when I got the opportunity to order these Spyder blades. I had 2 projects I needed the saw for. One was cutting a little off a fence gate, where I didn't want to have to re-do the screws. Excellent

I used a wood blade to trim my palm tree and it cut like butter. I used a metal blade to cut a piece of steel from an old couch frame. It seemed to cut really good though after two cuts the blade was done. Overall the blades are made well and I’d definitely purchase them in the future.

Best blades I've ever used.

This set includes quite a variety of blade types. My favorite was the 9" 6TPI Wood/Nails blade. I used it to cut down a 12" diameter crape myrtle tree. Used the 6" 6TPI Wood/Nails blade to cut deck boards off of trusses when screw heads failed. And I used the 8" 14TPI metal blade to cut 3/4" thick aluminum. Cutting 4" finished off the blade but it got the job done.

Positives and negatives

First, I really like the included case. Easier to open than another famous brand's, and plenty roomy for more blades than are included in the pack, which is quite alot. It has a ruler on the side- not sure I'd use it, but it could serve in a pinch. The longest blades need to sit into the two deeper grooves at the bottom to not get in the way of the case closing- just a minor complaint. Durable blades with handy case

I use a lot of reciprocating saw blades for pallet repair. I usually cut broken pallets into pieces and use the individual boards to repair other less damaged pallets. I tried the 8 inch wood/metal; cutting blade to cut through the nails on a pallet. The blade cut cleanly and was still in decent shape after cutting the entire pallet apart. I find that this type of use is tough on blades.

Nothing special

Needed to trim tree. I usually do this with my sawzall, I needed new blades so I used these. Found them to be adequate. They did not seem to preform any better that the other brands I have used in the past.

What’s the hurry!

Only got them March 22 so haven’t done anything with them yet, they look well made but don’t know how they will hold up! But go email saying second request for review. So this is it.

Nice set

I really like this set of reciprocating saw blades with storage tube. The plastic storage tube has measurements on it and a top that flips up. The blades are sharp and not flimsy. It comes with 2 wood/nail blades 6 Tpi, 2 metal blades 14 tpi, 3 wood/nail blades 6 this and 4 thin metal 18 this. This 14 piece set fits in the storage tube which makes it easy to find them. Spider is a brand I've used in the past and it works good. This set is made in the USA.

Great Sawzall Blades

These are very good blades to cut metal and wood. They come with a handy plastic carrying case so that they don’t get scattered out in your tool box. I used one blade to cut a heavy duty one inch pipe and it performed well. I expect to get a lot of service out of these blades. They range from 6 to 9 inches in length and easy to install in your saw. One thing that I like about these blades is that they are made in the USA.

Great quality and easy to use

I used to have such a hard time knowing which blade to use based on what I wanted to cut. These blades have the teeth per inch clearly shown. They also have a little picture identifying the type of material that you should use the blade for. To top it all off there is a nice organizational carrying case to keep the blades together. Great product for novice or expert workers.

Great Set of Blades!

Just tried out this blade set with my Milwaukee Sawzall and they didn’t disappoint. Cut through a block of three 2x4’s with no bend and little effort on my part. I really like the variety of blade types and sizes, and the storage case is a bonus!

Sharp Looking and Sharp Cutting

The Spyder brand reciprocating saw blades look sharp and they cut sharp as well. This package came with 14 assorted blades, 3 types 6" long, 2 types 8" long and a set of 9" long blades, ensuring you will have the right blade for the job. It comes with a nice case to store them in, and that fit nicely in my recip saw case. And! They are made in the good ol' USA!

Case is great! Good set!

The Spyder Black Series blade set is a decent little set. The case that comes with it is great. I’ll be using this case over the one that came with my Dewalt blades. The wood blades so far cut pretty good. I’ll say, to me, I believe the Dewalt blades cut a bit quicker and cleaner but these work just fine. They will be great for limb cutting and such. Overall happy with them.

Spyder blade set

Fantastic blade set!! Cuts easily through composite decking and wood. I am very impressed with the quality of the blades. I will be definitely be purchasing these blade in the future.
