Hose leaked badly within 2 months

I saw another review regarding the hose and I am having the same issue. I have had this for approximately two months and suddenly the shower hose at the base of the head has begun to badly leak. Literally water is spraying all over the ceiling to the point I need to buy a new hose or replace this product. I shouldn't have to do that within two months of use. The shower head works good and I like the filter process. But come on man! What a crap hose!

check the fit before insall

I purchased another unit exactly like this for the filtration feature: it's great for color treated hair & skin and not as slippery feeling as soft water. The original unit is still working well after 2 years. No burst hoses yet or water pressure issues. I enjoy the variety of settings and the hose length is nice for cleaning the shower and critters. Drop in pressure

After using this shower head for a while and not being thrilled with the pressure (we like strong) we tried removing the filter and it made a huge difference. Once the filter needs to be changed, you will have a significant drop in pressure, removing the filter made a huge difference. Soft water

My wife wanted a shower head that filters the water and makes the water soft. She says her hair is softer. Her sister was correct. I would recommend this product to everyone. What makes my wife happy is worth buying.

Great for hair!

My daughter purchased this shower head and loved it so much she bought one for me. Let me say that we both just love it. When I am away from home and don't have my Sprite Shower Head, there is a noticeable difference in my hair and skin after showering / shampooing. It is really amazing! Also, had to email customer service (after about 6 months) when the hose sprung a leak and they couldn't have been nicer. They sent a new hose, Priority Mail, at absolutely no cost to me.

Horrible

I have purchased this product at least 3 times and I'm getting the same issue over and over. At first I thought it was a fluke and I purchased it again and it happened again. I'm a sucker for purchasing it a 3rd time. The hose within a very short time, a few months starts to leak and spray water everywhere. Best shower head in the market

Ok so we had it for over 5 years ,, Nothing gets loose or falls down if you properly connect it . And yes we replaced the filter once in 6 months after flipping it the other way in 3 month. Shower feel is amazing. Has amazing pressure. I would say it doesn't filter everything out but it definitely gets the job done. We have it installed in one of the showers and my wife is always trying to shower in there.

Great but not durabel

I've bought 3 of three of these in about as many years. After about a years use the hose starts leaking between the fitting and the hose and sprays water everywhere. I need to see if a replacement hose can be purchased instead of continuously dropping coins on a whole new sprayer.

Great shower... until the hose bursts

I love this shower, the spray is great, the filter is great, and I loved it so much I have bought it 5 times. But every few months, the hose bursts, in the same spot. Lowes replaced one for me when it burst within a month, the other times it has been closer to 4-6 months before bursting. I have tried 5 or 6 other brands and head types, but this head has a powerful spray and clean feeling that no one else has matched, so i have suffered through paying for a new one over and over. Great Concept.

This is a great concept but poorly executed quality. I have had to order and have 5 hoses on this product replaced in under 2 years...The hoses are always either busting or springing heavy leaks. I just got this new hose from Sprite a month ago and burst just beneath the connector.

Shower head too heavy

I love the shower head. The look and idea of a shower filter is great but the head always droops down and then moves my shower caddy down which irritates me so much. I’m still debating on returning it or not because I can’t stand constantly moving the head and my shower caddy.

Good product!

Our water supply (local reservoir) is loaded with manganese and other undesirable contaminants. The manganese especially causes small but noticeable rust-like spots on our bathroom ceiling. Since installing the Sprite filtered shower head the manganese deposits have stopped. When I change the filter the amount of contaminants captured by the filter is really obvious.

No water pressure

Ok. Bought a house with this showerhead in master bathroom. Took forever to rinse shampoo and conditioner out of my hair. Had my superman guy who can fix anything look for to w restrictor. No luck. Then I noticed a tiny lock and unlock icon just above handle and voila the hu handle came apart to reveal this sprite filter! I removed the filter and put the handle back with the shower head and now I have Niagara falls dropping on my head! A year it took me before I found this ridiculous filter that...

Happy Customer

I've bought 3 of these (for 3 different showers) and only had a problem once (the bracket wasn't staying tight). I contacted the company (Sprite) and they were great with their customer service and my replacement bracket works great! I love the filter, we've got terrible water in my city and this makes showers much more pleasant!

Does well!!

I actually am pretty pleased with this hand shower, works better than the one I replaced, but there are only two cons to this product: 1)Still feels like the water pressure isn't strong enough, 2)I was surprised to see, after installation, that the shower head sprays straight down and not at an angle. Not really a BAD thing but different for me. Otherwise, it works great!
