Would RecommendThis product will attract Japanese Beetles for sure, as I had a bagful in less than 24 hrs. But recent articles I've now read have stated that this isn't necessarily a good thing. This item works by attracting all kinds of bugs to the area, not just JBs, and this can actually cause a bigger problem. If JBs are attacking something specific, place this far from that item. Also, I was very careful not to touch the lure but I somehow must have come into contact with it and it smelled for a long time...

Would RecommendThis bait works extremely well about 2-3 days. It in no way comes close to lasting as long as the beetles are active as the box proclaims. So, for effectiveness I could say its a 5, for duration of effectiveness compared to spectrcides claims, it gets a 1/2, so therefore the average rounded up is a 3.
