What Customers Are Saying
This product is generally effective at attracting and capturing Japanese beetles. Most customers report the traps work well, are easy to use, and reduce the beetle population. However, some note the traps can attract beetles from a wider area, potentially causing a larger infestation. There are also concerns about the lures losing scent quickly and the traps not lasting as long as claimed. While a useful tool for controlling Japanese beetles, users should be aware of the potential drawbacks and use it as part of a broader pest management strategy.

Would RecommendReplaced lure so I didn’t have to get rid of vane and bag. Should have in store so folks can reuse their traps.

Helps but doesn’t eliminate
Would Not RecommendThis product helps but doesn’t draw in all the beetles, so I have to use Seven Dust also.
Great product
Would RecommendI couldn't get the bag in the yard quick enough before the beetles started to swarm around me and the bag. Great product.
Changed it
Would Not RecommendThe replacement lures used to be the disk and a small vial with rubber and you put both on the trap. Well the single disk does not work. The dual system worked so good that I had to keep putting up new bags - got about a thousand beetles at least. They need to go back to the way they used to manufacture
recommend if you want everybodies beetles
Would RecommendYes this works HOWEVER be prepared for the fact that it will draw beetles from everywhere not only just your yard. I had 4 units and took them down because of the frinzy of beetles. Plus horrible horrible stink, im talking about dead stink, we dont need garbage pick up but i dont think they would even take it. Uck!!!
Goodbye Beetles
Would RecommendI used these traps last year and this year my Japanese Beetle count is WAY lower. If you are cheap like me, you empty the bags into a bucket of soapy water, rinse the bags in a soapy water solution, hang them out to dry and then put them into the next day's rotation. These work best (collect the most beetles) if you empty them at least every other day. Every day is best as the dead beetle stench drives off the live beetles. Yes, it takes some dedication, but it works! I collected about 5 ga...
NOT a "Paste"
Would RecommendDespite the product lable on the box, this is not a paste. It is a 3/8 inch thick "flower" shaped piece of sponge plastic , about 1 1/2 inch across, that contains the scent. No pherimone included as the more expensive baits contain. But it seems to work almost as good as the twice the price baits.
