No better than the plastic guards and 3x the cost.
Would Not RecommendMy home has gutters that I've installed the plastic covers on and they work fine at keeping out the leaves, etc. The drawback on the plastic ones is that they sag in the snow and in heavy rains, the water just slides of of them on to the house siding. I thought the finer lines of the steel gutter would let the water thru. Wrong! These were easy to install but no better than the plastic at permeability. Disappointing.

Never Received
I never received my order in spite of the fact that Lowes did send me a notice that it had been delivered. When I check the fed ex tracking number, I can see that it was turned around, redirected, damaged making delivery impossible, and currently in North Carolina. I had cancelled the order and was told by Lowe's customer service that someone would have to get it when delivered and return to store. I have had someone standing by to do so, but it has never been delivered.

Would RecommendI installed these two years ago. Yes, in the winter I do get some ice but tell me who lives in Michigan that doesn’t have ice? Super easy to install, used snips to cut. Had a guy come and do second story. He was so pleased at how easy they were to install. Now these are all he recommends.

Easy to install, good value for price
Would RecommendAffordable and easy to install. Put all 10 under the roof shingles in about 30 minutes. Also fairly easy to cut with tin snips. Stayed put through all the wind and downpours recently.

This is much better than the plastic guard. Water goes throw; the plastic will drip half out the gutter.
