Would RecommendI think for what it is it's a decent product. On my result I believe the PH test was right on along with the potash. However it showed that I had no nitrogen or phosphorus. I think it may have been due to the age of the kit. Though I would not discount my soil being drained. Overall I would recommend this product as a stepping stone for new gardeners and if possible try to find one that was manufactured most recently. These products do have expiration dates and people should believe them.

Essentially you mix soil, reagent and distilled water in a test tube and wait for a color result that you then compare to a color grading chart to figure out pH, N, Ph, K.
