Would Not RecommendI found the same problem as Jamie posted on May 24, 2021. I spent an hour trying to release the strap for the second use (when I desperately needed it to haul a load from the store), but the design of the pawl is such that it gets lopsided and stuck. Once I got home, I had trouble again, even using a screwdriver. So I cut the straps off and threw them in the garbage. Enough of that -- not worth the time and frustration. I'll look for a better quality set. Also, I found that the spool is not nea...

Would Not RecommendLong on plastic box, short on workable strap. This design the center shaft doesn't rotate -- that's the inferior approach. Have a clamp on strap to adjust length. Easy to wedge lenght, and clamp is then dead. Save your $s.

Would Not RecommendThe only instructions I could find on the ratchet was how to put it back in the package. That's of absolutely no help.
Came bent out of the box. Unusable.
Would Not RecommendThe ratchet came bent in such a way that the pawl opposite the handle could not disengage. It was too wide for both sides of the pawl to rise up the curve and one would always slip down when opened. I had to cut it off after first use.

Great Strap Tie-Down
Would RecommendThe strap its self is awesome and a great investment. The packaging was the tough thing, trying to get them out of the packaging took some doing. I also like the idea of the velcro to keep the straps neat.

Would RecommendUsed these to strap a tranny to a jack. Worked fine. Wrapped twice to shorten enough so wouldn't pull the hook to the ratchet.
