I am an avid user of the traditional paint pen but they have down sides like paint pools or uneven pint lines. Sharpie markers come out smooth and look very metallic. The odor is comparable to other paint pens and they dry much faster. Great go to paint pens.

Love these markers!
I really love the gold and silver markers and how they can show up on black paper! The red, green and blue still have that nice shimmer to them though. They smell the same as regular markers, the odor isn't any stronger. We use these just as often as regular sharpies in our house!

Great for card writing
The metallic colours have been a great purchase to write on birthday, Christmas and well any occasion cards. They are bold yet provide clear writing. Like any permanent pen there is a for but nothing that is too overpowering. The ink is quick drying so no need to be hanging around.
