I received this as a gift a week ago so I’m not sure yet. So far I’m impressed and Shark is our favorite brand so I’m sure that it’s going to be good

Loving my Shark ION Robot Vacuum!

The reason why I really love the Shark ION Robot Vacuum with Multi-Surface Brush roll & Wi-Fi Connected is that is really works! At first I put it in my Livingroom where it is more clear, thinking it cannot handle upstairs where there is a lot of furniture! Well I was wrong as I put it to work and that is exactly what it did by going into the tight spaces and doing a super job! Should have bought it ages ago, really wish I had, as it is really great!

Poor Quality

I bought this in December, 6 months later it no longer works. It will run for 2 seconds and then give an error code. I’ve tried everything that was recommended and nothing! Very dissatisfied!

Very disappointed

Gave to my mom for Christmas and it completely died within 4 months. And when it was working it constantly sent alerts it was stuck even when nothing was near it

Terrible experience

I have owned my Shark for six months. I was extremely happy with it. Then, like clockwork, right before the 6 month exact date, it says the suction motor stopped working. We do not have any pets or small children and I clean and empty the vacuum daily.

Awesome!

I want to kiss and hug whoever invented this type of vacuum!!! Live in northern Arizona where it is always breezy/dusty. Natural landscaping in yard, so lots of dry grasses and weeds which dog brings in along with her shedding hair. This vacuum gets it all! I am 62 and not much impresses me anymore, but this vacuum is fantastic!

Good for touch up vacuuming

I purchased this product so I could multitask. A caveat: I don't use the wifi option. I use the manual clean option. It is fine for touch up vacuuming, but it is noisy and bounces all over the room like a ball in a pinball machine. On a floor that is not carpeted it sounds like thunder. Since it is cirucular, it does not clean corners well but I mostly bought it to clean under furniture that I can't reach with the upright vacuum. I don't know that connecting to wifi would clean any bett...

I am highly frustrated with the Shark Robot vacuum that I bought less than two years ago. The unit now is only going in circles since one of the wheels got stuck. Surprisingly, customer support informed me that there is no way to replace the wheel because it is attached to the base. As a result, the unit is now useless. I do not recommend this product.

Waste of money

I bought this back in October of 2019 had problems with it in July of 2020 they had me send it they fix it. Not even a year as gone by and it stop working in and was told they will not do anything for it. The reason they gave me was it’s no longer in warranty. In my opinion for the cost of the vacuum it should last more than two years.

It did amazing for a good while but then slowly stopped sucking up the dirt on the group, left the floor dusty and would do constant circles. I’ve replaced it and deep cleaned it several times ..

Like product, needs better error handling

I really like my ION. I run this several time a week and it keeps my floor clean. Considering purchasing another for my basement. One issue is that I have is that it needs better error handling. This robot tends to get stuck on uneven surface (wood floor & tile), it likes to get stuck under furniture that has low clearance (needs a top sensor so it backs out) when it senses pressure. It tends to get stuck between carpet and wood floors where there is a small separation between the floor...

Great while it lasts

We had for only 6 months and it is constantly stopping and giving off an error message, when it has been cleaned multiple times, taken apart, parts replaced. It will work for a few seconds and then stop. When it does work, it goes over the same areas a lot. I got so frustrated with the error messages, I have just gone back to using my upright vacuum. What a waste of money.

Why didn't someone tell

Why didn't someone tell me sooner that this thing was a game changer! I have 2 shedding cats and one shedding dog, all I do is set this thing to clean once or twice a day and I am done. This thing is so worth every penny not to have to sweep or vacuum! Everyone should have one of these!

Works, but does not complete a room!

I received my Shark as a Christmas gift and quickly got it set up. Set up and getting started was easy. It picks up dirt fine, but will make one pass in a room then go to the other side of the house and make a few passes, then go to the middle of the house. I don't think it has completed a single room yet. The other day it did one side of the hallway and moved on.

I bought this for

I bought this for my parents as a Christmas gift to help with the dog hair we have all over our house. It works fairly well but our only complaint is that it seems to go in random patterns. We would rather it work slowly in one room to make sure every inch is vacuumed, but instead it goes in zig zags all around the house. This results in large patches of dog hair being left behind. Helps immensely with the

Helps immensely with the dog hair on my floors. I used to sweep daily now I no longer have to. Works super well on my hardwood and transitions well to my carpeted areas. Only complaints are that it does get corners or edges well and not very powerful suction so you’ll need to keep your standard vacuum on hand.

Thought it was decent, proved me wrong

I received this as a gift about four months ago, worked excellent until about a week ago. Now, all it does is chime. I've tried resetting the network, cleaning the brushes, cleaning the wheels, cleaning the filter, everything. The only help I could find was to make sure the dock is the one that came with the robot, well, I only have one dock and it came with the robot. I am beyond frustrated with this product. I press the 'clean' button, it goes for maybe 6 inches and stops, I press the 'do...

I hate this vacuum

It gets stuck constantly and runs into the same thing 20 times before it goes in the right direction. Pet hair gets stuck all inside of it in places that can't be cleaned out. The brush roll is making a horrible noise. I've only had it for 4 months.

Garbage, complete garbage

i have always loved Shark products. but this robot vacuum has been nothing but trouble from day one. constantly quits, I’m always having to restart it. Now it runs for 3 seconds and quits. I cannot make it work no matter what i do. I’m going to send it back to Shark. Hopefully they will give me a refund. if not i’m taking a hammer and smashing it to a million pieces and mailing them the parts.

Im in love with

Im in love with my shark . I love the fact that I can just send it to clean and don't have to do anything other than clean out the filter. It does an amazing job. I have a fur baby that sheds so much on hardwood floors that are dark. It cleans it so well.
