I don't know which one was less reliable, but at least I didn't spend over a $120.00 on strap. the major fault of this strap is the hook, it is weak, flimsy and will eventually break. better than nothing, but invest in a sturdier strap is my suggestion.

Would RecommendI purchased an HFT Atlas 80V String Trimmer. While it is very balanced with the battery installed, after a while it starts to get heavy. Interestingly enough, the string trimmer comes with a swiveling strap attachment point, but, HFT does not sell a strap for it. This one fits the bill perfectly, supporting the trimmer with the shoulder, but still allowing the trimmer to swivel from horizontal to vertical for edge trimming with no tangling. Would RecommendIf you are looking for a no frills type of shoulder strap this is it. It comes with a clamp for those trimmers that do not have a built in attachment point. It's easy to adjust the position of along the pole of your trimmer to find the right balance. Adjusting the strap is a no brainer. Anyone should be able to adjust the placement to fit their body size.
