This strap is OK the hooks are small almost did not fit my redmax trimmer which already has a strap ring but it fit, really needs a better shoulder rest it is hard rubber and hard on the skin real fast. Shoulda done this YEARS ago!

As little love as I have for yard work, it must still be done, and I have a LOT of trimming around my yard! Graduated from a corded trimmer to a gas powered one, but still had back and shoulder pain from carrying and/or pulling 110' of extension cord. Bought a Kobalt 40-volt battery trimmer (at Lowes, of course!) and it's a bunch lighter but STILL bad on my shoulders! disappointing product

This product is poorly made. The strap fabric is fine, but the clips are flimsy. If you want to adjust the length during use, it's necessary to take it off your shoulder unlike a much better product that I had for years and lost. That one had a simple, reliable tension fastener located on the front that flipped up and down to adjust. The two clip system for one eye bolt is awkward . The flimsy clips have loosened and slipped of the bolt numerous times. I'm going to see if I can modify it because...

It is What it is.

This is a very basic and inexpensive strap that takes the weight of the trimmer off of your hands and arms. No-frills, does as advertised, and makes trimming the yard far easier. If only the strap didn't get twisted, which makes putting your arm through it kind of tough. But I guess there's no way around that.

Money Well Spent

The strap is an essential add-on for gas powered weed cutter and edger. It provides weight relief by placing much of the tool's weight upon my shoulder and makes the entire tool more useable with less back strain. Easy to attach and simple to use. Great price for a handy support strap.

I don't have a trimmer I bought this strap cause I couldn't find a strap at walmart for my duffle bag. It works great for my oversized bag. Lost the strap that came with it so I bought this one and its just perfect. I have a Eastbay duffle that is really large and its huge when its completely full so this strap comes in handy. Long enough and comfortable. So if you don't have a trimmer but you need this strap for a bag or something else I would reccomend this.

produxt dirextions stink

Not sure why the other review is posted here. One must actually at least try to use a product before reviewing. The product construction is Ok. The thing thing that is most lacking is instructions/ a diagram. It took me a few changes to find the "sweet spot" where to mount this. Trial and error based on your height and reach. I am certain there are many returns because people give up... All because of lack of guidance from Shakespeare.

Great Price!

Haven't used yet because grass isn't growing very much in Oklahoma at present time. Looks real good and price and service great. I'm sure I will be pleased when I use strap.
