I don't weedeat as much as I should so I get briars, golden rod and thistle growing and these blades make quick work of that brushy stuff. They are terrible for detailed work around buildings and ANYTHUNG delicate. They will chew up fence posts and only stop cutting when attempting to cut bigger than 1" sumac trees, just the way I like it.
