Would RecommendHaving acreage, and a LOT of fenceline to trim around, I use quite a bit of this stuff. Shakespeare's "Ugly Line" is one of the better ones on the market. Cuts grasses easily, goes through Canadian Thistle without difficulty, and even some smaller woody stemmed brush gave in to it. I only gave it four stars instead of 5 because I believe it should have more durability. I felt like I had to change the line too often. Brittle and weak line.
Would Not RecommendI used this on a Cub Cadet Trimmer mower. The Cub Cadet line wore down slowly. It didn't break even with woody weeds and very thick brush. Cutting the same material, this ugly line lasted mere seconds. This line is useless for anything more than regular lawn grass in an open area. Weeds shatter the line to pieces. Used for about 5 minutes and spent more time reloading than cutting. Very disappointing. Waste of money.
