A name I trust for something so important

When I started my search for a gun safe, it was important for me to have a brand name I could trust. Since I have several safes from Sentry already, it was really a no-brainer. I love the features of this safe. It was very easy to program and gave me a level of security that I couldn't ask for better. I was able to assign a six digit code in addition to the biometrics. Its a great size, and actually fits 3 of my guns.

Functional Safe, Looks presentable

The safe seems strong enough with very solid construction, the piston opener works well and fast. I've had some issue with the biometric scan working without repeated attempts. The button code and keys work well, however. Good size for placement on a bedside table. It is not hidden at all, you know what it is at first glance. It will do the trick, still working on the biometric opener.

Biometric gun safe

Nice unit. Seems pretty robust. Good price,quick delivery.

Safe lid damaged

Safe works as it should. However the lid on the safe was badly chipped in to 2 different places on the left side. Brand new safe, 2 huge chips into the edge of the lid all the way through to the bare metal.

Great gun safe for under $200!

I compared many safes on the market and narrowed it down to this one and the VultTek with similar features. I ended up choosing the Sentry Safe because of pricing. It was nearly $100 less than the VultTek and offered the same protection and features. The biometric pad works good and also has the option for coded or keyed entries. The construction is very sturdy and is very heavy. It’s large enough to hold an S&W MP9 full size with extra magazine. The blue night lighting is good too.

Heavy duty

This gun safe is the best one I have found. It is very heavy duty and we are extremely satisfied.

QAP1BLX Review

Recently received my second safe. The first one came with a damaged inner box and broken plastic frame on the sides of the safe. Whoever packaged it had to see that the safe box was damaged. Why it was sent out is surprising to me. Having said that, I reordered a replacement and the second was received in good condition. Set up was a bit tricky and it didn't read one of the fingerprints. Strong, Secure and Simple

I was looking for a safe to store a couple of firearms and the QAP2BLX was the solution. With this safe I have no worries that whatever I put in there will be secure. The safe also has good internal size while remaining slim and it's not an eye sore. The code and finger print setup was easy and when you register you can add your passkey code and you unlock code so you're never locked out. The lights are programmable. Slick unit all around. Initial quality good, but not without issues

Note: Initial review. I have had the unit less than a month. I bought the QAP2BLX due to the features of redundant access, 2 pistol capacity, internal light and "whisper quiet opening". It is a good solid unit and had all the features as it was advertised. I received it promptly and it was adequately packaged. Sentry Biometric Safe

Three ways to lock and open safe. The safe has a back light when open. Very sturdy and well made. Great addition to home storage for a handgun. We bought a second one after seeing the quality. Lowe’s has a great price compared to the market.

Good quality, but one issue.

The quality is very good and the fingerprint works well. Enough space inside for 2 handguns and clips. The one issue I have is that the buttons don't light up until you press them, this could be an issue if needed to access quickly in the dark.

Nice product that has glitches

The safe is very nice with room for 2 hand guns. Entry can be made with a code, a fingerprint or a key. The sensor for the fingerprint is not able to consistently read the fingerprint. I have had to remove all primary fingerprints and then reset them. The malfunction happened again.
