Would RecommendPerfect little safe for when I'm on the go. Keeps all the important papers that I want to keep with me at all times especially during NorCal fire season. I feel the safe is secure and it's light enough to carry with me. I have no complaints.

Would RecommendIt seems really durable, but the handle latch to open it seems like it could be more sturdy. It perfectly fits an 8.5x11 piece of paper, so it is good for that size documents and smaller, but it doesn't fit the 9x12 manilla envelopes unless you bend a 1/2" on the 9" side.

Learn From My Mistake
Would RecommendPerfect size for my needs. Safe has good weight and is appealing to the eye. I broke a key first thing by locking before closing the lid. The key would not turn to unlock again without applying considerable force. Lock works easily IF you close the lid and then turn the key to lock. Replacement keys are very expensive.

Would RecommendI appreciate this is not a safe, but would gladly pay more for it if the locking handle was metal and the key latch was metal. Just to give it some level of security. The size is adequate. It is easy to open and close, lock and unlock. I would recommend this product for what it is intended. Was purchased in sale, so it was good value.

It was fine, then it wasn't.
Would Not RecommendI tried to close it the other day, and it wouldn't latch. Shortly thereafter, the handle snapped off.

I had the 1100 series that I got maybe in the late 1990s, but oddly the material that held the locking mechanism in place just disintegrated! Hopefully, they have improved the box since then. As for the lock itself, I wouldn't call it a safe level by any means; I think it's more to keep honest eyes out of the box. I use mine to store critical documents and other various items of value. This is one of those items one hopes to never have to actually take advantage of!

Would Not RecommendAfter placing my documents in the safe for the first time, I locked it and the lock was broken. I am unable open it and need to take it to a locksmith to retrieve my documents High dissatisfied with performance of this safe.
