A waste of my time

This was the second time in as many warm seasons that I decided to try EZ Seed Patch and Repair. Thinking that I might have gotten a bad container the first time I tried again this year. Followed the directions to the T watering 3 and 4 times a day. NOTHING - NOTHING. Absolutely NO evidence of the "mulch expanding 4X to cover the seed. These patches were scraped and then filled with topsoil with a growing medium before adding this product. Again NOTHING!

Nice product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to repair place where my dog and grandson have destroyed patches of grass. It works well. I like the way to our container as well. Just pure and water and new grass. Works great as expected.

Did not meet expectations

We bought this product over a month ago seeded the area and so far only a few blades of grass have appeared. Kept it watered when needed have been planting grass seed many years but disappointed in this product, it is easy to use from this type of container

Amazing as advertised

Laid it down Wednesday May 11th, and I have two inch tall grass growing 9 days later.

Didn’t work

Applied three weeks ago and has not grown as advertised

Ez seed fail

I bought the 40lb bag of ez seed, followed the directions exactly, and nearly two weeks later all I have is piles of dead seeds. Total waste.

EZ Patch needs a patch

For the price you guys asked for the easy seed; It should produce a lot better than what it does. Topsoil was dug up patch applied plenty of water daily. Not enough grass grew

Has anyone had an issue with it not coming up the next Spring? It looked beautiful going into the Winter, now it is Spring and it is completely dead. Any suggestions?

This is complete garbage - planted in Texas

I followed directions in the spring and laid off my lawn guy for one in a half months and all I have is 10% peach fuzz growth near May.

Easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use for sure! I had some dead spots on the side lawn of my house. I shook the product out anywhere there was a bald spot. After that, I watered regularly for a few weeks and had great success.

Disappointed

Used this product on five different patches 3+ weeks ago. The spots were over 100 feet from each other so hard to imagine the soil condition is the problem. No evidence of germination yet despite following instructions for application and watering. Very disappointed.

Timing is everything

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product received in October. Not a good time in Minnesota to lay grass seed down. Stored product inside of house and used it the spring (April for the spring showers) and did the job wonderfully! Not sure if seeds get old but they looked fine and worked miracles on patchy bare spots in the yard!

No grass at all

I bought this product two weeks ago and still haven’t seen any grass sprout yet. I water it everyday. I’m in the Midwest maybe the grass mixture doesn’t like this area? Any tips would be great.

Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this product for years. It's easy to use along with Scott's lawnsoil with Starter fertilizer. Takes a little for grass to get going but once it does it fills in and is nice and green You just need to water it properly. Keep it moist

Perfect for patches too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this seed! The key that most people forget is that you HAVE to keep the seed moist. As long as you water on a regular schedule you should be fine. After a few weeks when you see the grass blades coming up quite a bit you can cut back on your schedule a little bit at a time.

Terrible Product

I bought a container in early spring and tried it on a few dead spots. Never grew. I kept it moist and nothing happened. Tried a few weeks later. Still nothing at all. Few weeks later tried some again. Grass never grew at all not even a little. Fortunately only bought the one container. I have never bought seed that did not work at all.
