Would RecommendI applied Scott’s Crabgrass and Weedy Grass preemergent in Sept. 2022 before soil temp dropped below 70 F with the intention to prevent germination and subsequent growth of winter annuals. It is now late April 2023 and I have had no emergence of winter annuals (chickweed, speedwell, henbit, deadnettle, etc). The 1.7% Pendimethalin did the trick. I will treat again this September. Pretty sweet as I am surrounded by owners who refuse to manage the weeds in their yards. Timing is key.

No more crabgrass!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product works great. My yard has a massive crabgrass problem. I used this product on my lawn and I haven't had any crabgrass this year. I am amazed at how well this product works. If you have issues with crabgrass, this is the product you need to use!

Would Not RecommendThis product does not prevent annual bluegrass, a.k.a. Poa Annua, although it it is clearly mentioned on the packaging. The most aggravating it the SPREADER SETTING. Using a Scott’s broadcast spreader mini, just a few granuals were being broadcast. It was obvious that i could has covered serveral lawns with that setting. I thought the Scott’s broadcast spreader mini had died. I immediately went and bought a new Scott’s broadcast spreader mini. Dumped the preventer into the new spreader at 2 1/...
