I discovered this sponge 6 or 7 years ago when I was looking for scratch free and effective cleaning of dishes . Ever since I found this i’m in love with this sponge it gets the work done . Pots pans use with ur favorite cleaner or glass porcelain it doesn’t scratch any material . Lasts longer than usual sponge 🧽. I put it in my dishwasher at night with the dishes and it gets clean too and biweekly put damp in microwave it for 2 mins and its sterilized .

What happened to the quality?

I have used Dobie cleaning pads for 40 years. Over the last several months I have noticed a big drop-off in quality. The nylon pad deteriorates rapidly and little pieces of nylon/plastic are getting stuck on my strainers and pots and pans. I fear my family is going to ingest the nylon/plastic pieces. I need to look for another brand!!!

Rip off!

10 days of using for washing dishes, pots and pans and already is ripped. I feel ripped off!

Great sponge for scrubbing. You have to rinse thoroughly or food will stay stuck under the mesh.

No good!

I have loved this product over the past 40 years. Lately, however the product has been quite disappointing! Probably in an effort to cut costs, the scrubbing pad is not as durable. The last 6 pads I have used began to fall apart after about 3 uses. Not acceptable!!

Satisfied no longer!

I have been using this product for years and loved it. However, recently the pad quickly turns black! I don't know what change was made in the manufacturing process, but it is not a one, two or even three time occurance. Unfortunately, I will not be buying any more.

I’m 71 years old and have been using the dobie as long as I can remember. But now they are so cheaply made I’m going to find another pad that I can wash dishes with

Newer dobies very disappointing

The quality of these has greatly decreased in the last couple years. They used to last a much longer time before getting holes. Please go back to previous manufacturing process. I can't use these anymore because I hate having to throw them away every couple weeks. They used to be perfect for my mountains of dishes (no dishwasher).

Once upon a time a great product, not anymore.

What has happened to this product? We have used them over the period of many, many years and as time goes on we try the newer, fancier pads but always come back to the Scotch Brite Dobie, once a very good product (5 star). I must have had 6 boxes of them in the cabinet. We started using them again and they are terrible. You changed your manufacturing process or material

I've been using Dobies for decades. The change in the mesh portion of the product has become increasingly obvious. Used to be weeks before a hole wore in the mesh. Now it's a few uses. Put it back to the way it was please. I'll pay a little more for it. If I have to look for another product, it won't be 3M, I promise.

Decreasing quality/increasing price

I have used these for years and even thought the price has increased the quality is decreasing. I bought a pack last week and they didn't last one wash and the seam on one end opened up and the scrubber was useless.
