Flatter sponge not good.
I have been using your Dobie dish washing sponge for many years. In the last box I bought, however, the sponges were flatter. It feels like I am washing dishes with a dish rag. Is this some "shrinkflation" thing? Sadly, unless this is an isolated manufacturing error, I will no longer be buying your product.

I purchased this a while ago and just used it to clean the wood railing to our basement and the washing machine front loader rubber door seal and the bathroom tub. I am so pleased that it did NOT tear at all, so it was a joy to use it to clean with. Also liked how it rinses clean.

I trusted & relied on Dobie sponges for over 10 years after trying them, but their quality/durability has decreased SIGNIFICANTLY the past few years. I thought it was just me, but after reading recent reviews, I'm not crazy after all. I can’t believe what you are packaging and selling to us after being so reliable for years (as witnessed by the dates on the 5-star reviews.). The first time it happened, I thought maybe someone had used the sponge with an abrasive cleaner. Then it happened to the other two…maybe a bad box, I thought. Then it happened with a new box. I took one out of the box today and only used a little dawn on it to clean an all clad sauce pan that had been used to heat chicken soup…not a difficult clean up...
