Not your momma's sponge

I mistakenly bought these for use in my kitchen. After I opened and used a couple times, I looked at fine print on pkg and saw that they are not for use on stainless steel appliances. In larger print, it states they are safe for pots and pans, etc, AND on concrete and bricks. I tested it on a stainless knife, which I have never considered to be an 'appliance', and it scratched the knife. I wish I had been given these sponges to use and review rather than purchasing them. limited usefulness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is good for stubborn gunk on hard surfaces. Don't use it on non-stick cooking surfaces, as it will destroy them. Use it on stainless steel only if you are ok with scratching it. My shower floor is slate file and it tends to get a slick buildup of bath products (soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc). Scrubs clean and stays clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me the Scotch-Brite Scrub Dots Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge to try and review. I used the sponge on every dish, pot, and pan in my kitchen. The Scrub Dots side of the sponge is non scratch so it was safe to use it on my non-stick pans. In my experience, other scrubbie sponges get food bits stuck on the scrubbie side which are difficult to dislodge. This Scrub Dots sponge did not have that issue. Any food bits just rinsed right off. awesome sponge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this sponge for a month and the scrubber has not shredded or lost its scrubbing power, it did get a little dirty, but still works. The sponge stayed the same green without fading and it was so easy to rinse the soap out, a lot faster than other sponges. I would definitely purchase again.

Better than regular kitchen sponge.

The side with the "Scrub Dots" gave extra backing to scape off the stuck on gunk. Where a generic kitchen sponge may have started the fall apart, this product stayed in one piece...and lived to scrub another day.

Works good and doesn't damage pans

Nice for dirty pan interiors, easy on the hands!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the feel of the sponges. They work well on my pans, even the exteriors. They do take a bit of elbow grease to truly scrub the exteriors, so I would like to see a scrubbing pad for that. Scotch-Brite has one on the market awhile ago but it didn’t last long. One Tough Sponge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this sponge for the past 5 week and it's still in really good shape and continues to clean the hardest cooked on food off of my pots. I usually use Scotch-Brite products so I was comfortable with the curvy shape of the sponge. I expected the dots to be scratchy because it's a "Heavy Duty" sponge but they weren't and they still got the dishes clean. Great design!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used all 3 that came in the package outside. One I used to clean the outside of my gutters. The dots held up & did not scratch the paint on the gutters themselves. Another I used to clean the outside window sills. It was flexible enough to get in various tight corners & not scratch. The third one I used to clean window screens & the frames. Provided enough roughness to remove the dirt without damaging the screens.

It is very harsh and must not be used on lots of surfaces because of scratching. I used it on my Corian countertop and scratched it, but I also used it on the Corian sinks and it cleaned them better than what I was using.

Good sponge, not a great scrubber

Cleans well

I already use 3M Scotch Brite sponges in my kitchen every day so I was happy to try a new product. The Scrub Dots sponge is great. It scrubs well, is safe for non-stick cookware and lasts a long time. I like that food particles don't get stuck in the fibers of the scrub side. I would definitely buy these in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of course this Scrub Dots sponge makes short work of removing cooked-on grease from enamel outside of skillet and from metal baking rack, but my favorite use of this 2-sided sponge is to quickly get out the coffee stains left behind in mugs by dishwasher! A swipe with the dampened sponge side, scrub a bit with the dots side, then rinse out - no more coffee stains!

OK on Dishes---Great on the Tub!

It is adverstised primarily as a dishwashing sponge (although garage and outdoor uses are also noted), so I tried it on my pots, baking dishes, and other hand-washed items.
