Dangerous

Would Not Recommend

I purchased this a little over a year ago. Was a nice unit that I was happy with until one of the burner knobs seized while the burner was on. I had to get some pliers to get it to turn to the off position. I had to use a lot of force to get it to turn, highly dangerous issue. I should not be having issues with this stove at its current age, we don’t even use it regularly because we mostly grill outside. And of course it is out of warranty now.

Impossible to find part for repair

Worst oven I’ve ever used

Would Not Recommend

The oven never worked right: temperature is way off; it only starts when it wants to unless we turn on the simmer burner (back right burner) to ignite the gas; and now, even once heated it fills our house with the smell of gas. I am surprised we haven’t blown up our house with this stove. I cook and bake daily; this stove is the worst stove I have ever owned and I’m 56 and have owned my fair share of stoves. Will never buy another Samsung product ever again.

Leaking gas after a year of light use.

Would Not Recommend

After using it a bit over a year (three months after warranty expiration) this range oven started leaking gas. Repair cost $200 start service fee plus parts. $120 each valve regulator. Total with tax $450. Half cost of the oven!!! NO MORE SAMSUNG!!!

looks beautiful, works well, I’d buy it again

I’ve had this oven for several years and while it’s much more work to keep clean than my last one, only because of all its intricacies versus an old 80s style range, I like it. The center burner for the griddle doesn’t get very hot so I rarely use it. But over all I do like this oven. We’ve had issues with it’s ability to reach oven temp and this is common with most electric element propane ovens. Nothing beats a true pilot light. The Red On Black button, OFF/CLEAR is very hard to see. I had to have a service call because I thought the light on this button was burnt out! No light was out, just poor design. In the photo, is is in the top right corner, directly above the _Lock & (3-sec). ALL the other buttons, white on black, are very bright & clear. Otherwise, very nice range

Terrible product

One year and 11 days after I purchased it the igniter died. Now we are 1 year and 6 months in an the burner and oven are leaking gas and peco had to come turn off the gas. customer service from samsung was horrid the first time around and I can't imagine that it will get better this time. DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN

Stopped working 1 year and 11 days after delivery

I loved my new oven, until it stopped working 1 year and 10 days after we started using it. The stove still works, but the oven will not. Samsung said it's out of warranty due to the fact it worked for 1 year AND TEN DAYS! contacting them has been very frustrating. I 100% would not recommend this experience.
