Color was inconsistent

I ordered two batches of this product and both were delivered by Lowes truck - which was great. Both were supposed to be the same gray color. The first order was gray sand and very nice. I did not have enough so I ordered another batch. The second batch was only partially gray sand and had many black specks in the sand. Paver Set polymeric sand works

This product worked for the bricks I put alongside my driveway. Just follow the instructions carefully and don't do too large of an area if you can't cover it if it rains within two days of setting and watering the sand. Be sure to wipe off any excess sand or it will stain the bricks.

Didn't Work

Followed the instructions but it never set up. It was no better than just using sand or gravel.

Great and easy

We used this to make my grill area patio! Works great. Used a very light spraying mist garden hose tho to set it or else the sand will spread everywhere out of the cracks.

Terrible Product

As many others have stated, this product is terrible. As many others also stated, followed the directions exactly as stated. I watched how to videos, did research, thinking i could be successful if i knew what to do and how to do it. Bottom line is this stuff just doesn't work and it ruins your pavers in the process. I even had mine cure, it was rock hard. Cured for a min of 48 hours before any precipitation. Over two weeks later and after a few rains, i now start seeing the joints are soft and ...

Fantastic

I was a little skeptical about spending the money for this product. Boy was I wrong, this product is amazing. Easy to work with and fantastic with how it sets up and stays in place. I would highly recommend it.

Use a fine Mist to Water

Do not over water or follow the directions. A light mist is all you need. I followed directions the first time...which led to over watering and break down of the glue. If you get puddles use leaf blower to move water. Prepare your surface that is the biggest job and use a tamper or rubber mallet on pavers that seem loose to eliminate air bubbles. The results are worth it!

Product washed out and discolored the pavers

We applied the Sakrete Polymeric sand to our pavers last year. i followed direction and went above and beyond (dusted with brush, blowed with leaf blower, and then sprinkled water. In fact, repeated this process second time to ensure sand will not leak out.) It looked great after the sand addition, however the pavers color faded after the first rain 1-2 days later. Ruined pavers

We installed grey and black pavers. Did everything according to instructions! There is haze on black pavers from the sand. Looks like someone bleached it. Terrible product!

Very dissatisfied and wish they improve quality

I was first happy to see Lowes carries this Gray color (as they used to just carry Beige color). I purchased this after reading some good reviews. I spent the time and followed instruction, the next day all the sand was easily be washed out from the gap of pavers. I used it all and thus cannot be returned for refund. Wasted my time and money. I ended up purchase another "G" brand I used in the past from local landscaping shop which provided satisfying result.

This product is crap

Do yourself a favor, look elsewhere, this stuff never hardens, yes followed directions, a month later, through many hot days, can still easily dig out with my finger. Disappointed that Sakrete would put out such a garbage product. Looking at other products like jointit.com, whatever product you choose make sure it’s not this one. 1 Star is overstating its quality

Product was half-used

They need to design a better lid. Apparently you can take off the top without removing the plastic lock strip, because I ordered 4 of these and one of them was clearly used. It was 60% full compared to the others and had bark in it.

Neat Walkway Appearance

We had a walkway installed a few years ago with slate pavers, and the contractor used some kind of large pebble mix between the pavers. It washed out over time, leaving an irregular and unsightly surface. My husband replaced the pebble mix with this product. Easy to use, looks fantastic and did not wash out with recent heavy rains. Really good paver sand. Easy to pour in small spaces. Sets up and hardens fast. I recommend it!

Not Long Lasting At All

As is the case with other reviews I have read, I followed the instructions, made sure every step was followed, and it resulted in sand washing away, within days of it being applied. I have had my cobble stone pavers laid for about 4-5 weeks now. With any water (rain or sprinklers) that hit the pavers, and sand of course, the sand washes away. There's a haze on the bricks

I worked really hard on getting my bricks ready to fill the joints because what was old and it was coming out. It wasn't sand, it was something like the polymeric sand I guess. So I did the job and the next day I was surprised to see a hazing on the bricks. I figured it would come off if I sprayed and brushed it again, but it did not.
