Would Not RecommendShould have read other reviews for this product. When I got my purchase, opened it and tried to turn the shaft by hand - it did not work!. Tried turning it with pliers - it was frozen solid. No way that a drill would run this pump. TRASH, return for credit. Why is Lowes still selling this junk after so many reviews saying it does NOT WORK.

TERRIBLE: Invest in something more expensive
This product simply does NOT work. It is cheap and very tempting to buy because of that, and the basic simplicity of it. However, the problem is, it does NOT work.... period. Invest in something a little more expensive, and something that will actually work.

I was desperate so i took a chance
Would Not RecommendI needed a small pump badly and Lowes had one in stock. The poor reviews concerned me but since Lowes has such a great return policy I decided to go ahead and chance it. I oiled it per the directions and attached the hoses. I ran it in the kitchen sink and it would only draw water up the intake about two inches. I even primed it but it wouldn’t do any better. Fortunately I don’t live too far from Lowes.

at first I thought it was me when it wasn't working but I reassured myself by following step by step. this thing would not such. I will warn AGAINST thus item don't buy it spend the money to get a better pump
