Would Not RecommendAs the title states, there are numerous pin holes thru out the two hoses I bought. Tested out the sump pump and water sprayed from about a dozen little pin holes. If could give zero stars, I would.

It's just what I needed to drain my stocktank into the garden. I bought a Rubbermaid 300 gallon tank to cool off in during the impossible days, where AC just doesn't cut it. This ensures I don't waste those gallons of water down the driveway.

Would Not RecommendSince this is tge only sump pump hose that Lowes carries that fits a standard pump discharge, I’ve purchased several rolls. I usually bought a new roll to replace the previous roll that was leaking. I’ve had enough. This stuff springs pin hole leaks constantly! I’d cut out the leaking section and make a repair and fjnd another leak in no time. Tine to install pvc. Do yourself a favor, pass on this junk.

Would RecommendGood heavy gauge plastic, but the IO is slightly larger than 1.5” so may have trouble getting a good seal on a pipe or connector.

Would Not RecommendI was surprised to see how this was highly rated. But reading the reviews people are talking about a single incident use. I use it for a pro long period. I have a sump pump under the house. And these hoes don’t last long before they get small holes. Which eventually becomes bigger holes; wish the use better quality materials (longer lasting).

Repurposed sump kit for rain barrel use
Would RecommendSump connector kit recommended by Lowes plumbing assistant for rain barrel use. Heavy discharge from deck roof vent into rain barrel. Unfortunately Lowes no longer carries the smaller pipe diameter and the assistant assured me that the sump kit would work but It is the wrong diameter and had to be rigged up with tape and connectors. Unfortunately it was the only option available at my Lowes. And once you start a project you keep going, those of you who know what I mean.
