Carpet installation can potentially ruin doors.
I didn't like the communication that led up to the installation. We told the person measuring the carpet that we wanted the old linoleum to be left in place at the entrance of our house. This wasn't communicated to the pro installing the carpet. Our doors were taken off our hinges to install the carpet and later the person performing the installation wasn't able to trim the bottoms of the doors to get them to better fit, as it's not included in the service. His attention to details recognized a flaw in my carpet which he and Lowe's quickly addressed and new carpet was delivered and installed before there could have been any issues.
