I use my weed eater for edging sidewalks, trimming grass around trees and buildings. Compared to cheap line it is terrible. I used the el-cheapo line to do the same job and it was thinner and lasted way longer. This line breaks off in 1 inch chunks. It is garbage and a waste of money.

Not quite for me, but maybe for you

I go hard on my trimmer dealing with fences, brick walls, and edging cleanup so this trimmer didn't last as long as I had hoped based on the name Savage Supreme. Loading onto the trimmer was as easy as most other trim lines. Not sure the benefit of the tri-colors as it seemed to break along these color lines when it did come undone. Includes typical line cutter. Although it's a 3 star for my use, if you're gentler with your trimmer you should get a 4 star experience with the product.

Great long lasting line!

This trimmer line is a beast!! I've used similar sizes before but nothing has felt this solid! There's a blade inside the container that's attached to the line (you don't have to open the package, one of the holes in the back will have the starter) but the blade stunk. I had to use my box cutter. Otherwise it's perfect!

Good value trimmer string with a convenient case

Very high quality long lasting trimmer string. I also like the way it's packaged, which makes installing it very easy. They include a cutoff tool (small plastic piece with a blade) that can be stored on the string, although it would be nicer if they had a place to secure it to the packaging. I used this in my EGO trimmer and it worked very well. It seems to last longer than standard string as well.

It works

The product does a fine job chopping away. It is nice that it comes with a wire cutter. I personally prefer string that comes pre-cut to the length that I need, even though that typically costs more. I'd that doesn't bother you, this is a fine product

Great weedeater line!

Not a bad product! It was a little smaller diameter than I normally use but it cut really well and clean. It was easy to install and it actually didn’t try to catchand dig in if I got to close the the ground. Others that I've use tend to do that.

This is the best trimmer line I have used

This is one of the best trimmer lines I have ever used. The line never broke while I was using it. The price at Lowe's was about eighteen dollars which I thought was good for 125 feet of trimmer line.

I am impressed!

I am very impressed with this line. I have used many different brands and have tried many different commercial heavy-duty trimmer line, and this one lasts the longest. Tough line

This line is small but mighty my weedeater is electric battery powered and uses small line some of the other lines I've used breaks easily and didn't cut all that good this line has like a braid to it and seems much stronger

Tough trimmer line that handles the job

I’ve used plenty of trimmer line over the years and this one really surprised me with how tough it is. The line has a good weight and doesn’t snap as easily as others I’ve used (especially common brand named ones). I ran it through a full session trimming along my fence, trees and even some overgrown gravel edges and it held up way better than expected. Strong trimming line.

I used the SPEED Savage trimmer line for edging and trimming around the fence in my backyard, and it performed really well for this type of work. Superior line with a cool look

The SPEED Savage Supreme 0.095-in x 125-ft Trimmer Line is cool looking with a twist of neon yellow, orange, and green, and was easy to pull off the spool. Has a heavy-duty feel to it. It comes with a plastic wire cutter with a hole that lets you leave it on the line, which is good as far as marking where the end of the line is and helping to not lose the cutter, but its metal blade wouldn't cut through the line. Not a solution for our trimmer

This string would not feed automatically in our trimmer (Black & Decker Electric). In 20 feet of edging, it had to be restrung 3 times. Also, the provided cutter on the original spool would not cut. In spite of the labeling indicating it would work, this wasn’t a good solution for our trimmer. Bummer!

To begin, the included cutter proves to be ineffective. I discovered that wire cutters from my toolbox were necessary for cutting this line. One of the most challenging tests is along my retaining wall, which is approximately 130 feet of concrete block. My wife bought this me and not really what I wanted but it turned out good. It was the perfect size she did good. It says its America's toughest line we will see.

Makes weed eating a breeze

This string gets the grass trimmed up really quickly. I had some thick grass that this trimmer line ran through so easily. The line is not as flexible but at .095 that's expected. The grass was still trimmed "neatly" and as it grew back the grass still looked healthy.

Long Lasting String

I have a pretty large yard with a lot of edges to cleanup. I love to edge my lawn and garden. I’ve used several kinds of string trimming line. I like it to be bright so I can see the line breaks to clean up quickly. I don’t want my pets picking up and eating it. Also of course it’s got to work well. Tough and cuts well

The line feels harder to the touch than my usual line, possibly testimony to its toughness. In use the line cut well was not brittle and did not fray. I can’t ask for more than that. The package includes a line cutting tool which I found to be unable to cut the trimmer line. That’s not unusual and I normally use shears to cut the trimmer line anyway.
