I Got Screwed

Well, I was impressed with the table when I opened the box... and was really looking forward to using it. Unfortunately, while installing the quick connect mounting plate to my Dewalt 618 router, one of the screw heads sheared off. It was the 3rd and last screw to install the plate, and I gave it a little muscle at the end because it wasn't seated completely. Not square

There's not a square surface on the table. The exit side fence face sticks out about 1/16" further than the entrance side fence face, and the rings around the router bit, both the fixed and removable, sit about 1/16" lower than the surface of the table. It's very difficult to get a nice smooth finish in the first and last few inches of your piece because it is either hanging up on the way in or bumping along on the way out.

Good for beginners who rarely use it.

I received this table 5 years ago as a Christmas gift from my hubby. I'm not a serious woodworker, primarily a hobbyist who dabbles in small furniture projects and crafts. excellent choice for my router easy to set up and get going

Table is great. Legs are wobbly??

I read all these reviews which is what led me to buy this table. Everything is true so far. Solid table. Solid fence. My hitachi router attached in minutes. My one complaint that I don't see anyone talking about is the legs don't really lock in. They remain wobbly so as you push a piece of wood into the bit, the whole table moves a bit. Is there some lock that I am missing???

Good Router Table

Just purchased and was able to easily mount my Bosch router. At first I did not think it would mount up but then I removed the sub base and noticed the mounting holes I needed were there. The legs are a little wobbly until you mount to a board or table.

Parts order

I broke a part on my router table and ordered a replacement by phone. I was very pleased with the assistance that I received. I was most pleased because the person on the other end of the phone line spoke English and was located within the United States Of America. The help I received far exceeded my expectations. When I am in need of any power tool or accessory; I will seek out products from this company.

Power supply

The power supply with on/off switch quit working. After trying to reset it numerous times, I finally removed it and just used a cord. Also half way thru a cut the lock released, letting the router drop.Hard to get the exact depth set again as the lock was weak.Also the trigger lock kept releasing on the router letting it shut off.

Great Router Table

I bought this router table a few moths ago and I been loving it since. It was very easy to match the predrilled holes to mount my Dewalt and Bosch router. I was a little skeptic at first with the light weight design, but it has held up to every single thing I have thrown at it. The only thing I would change about this router table is the storage on the sides. They are a bit small and with all the router tools you come to gather over time these storage boxes fill up fast. You wont be disappointed...

Lowes and Skil Could Provide Better Information

I had to return this router table because it would not fit my Black & Decker router. Rather than advertise it will work with "most routers," Lowes and Skil could conveniently provide on line the list on page 14 of the manual (the one you get only when you buy the table) that states what routers the table does work with. Their omission led to a waste of time for me and a waste of money (returned item) for Lowes.

Questionable

Great idea, well engineered, cheap to average quality. My craftsman router would not fit. My Ridgid compact router would not fit.

Well-Designed Portable Router Table, Easy to Use

I bought this router table as a replacement for an ancient one. I looked at several different models and chose this one for the features and the fact that the legs fold up for ease of storage. I have just started to use this table, so I am not qualified to write anything comprehensive. However, this is my experience at this point. Before this, all the table I owned was one that I purchased in the 1970's, and it was basic! This Skil table is much better in comparison, but that is a poor comparison. A good place to start for a beginning woodworker

Skil Router Table

The skil router table is a good buy, so far I have not had any issues. It comes with a lot of accessories and a good solid table, it has plenty of storage as well in the legs as well.

I purchased the router table because I have a Skil router and wanted a compatible table for it. I was surprised at how good this table actually is. The only issue I have with it is the folding legs. When locked into position they are still have play in them. My Skil router was really easy to install as is any router that fits the mounting plate.
