Router table

There are storage slots on both sides. My issue with them is that I have a difficult time closing the lids. They slide off the rod

Seems kinda cheap and sloppy.

The table I received is not completely flat, and that prevents the miter gauge from sliding all the way through the track while tightened. I received mine with a small bit of damage and abrasion on the right corner as well. This is the first Skil purchase that I have not loved. That said I have still used it a few times for jointing in the few weeks I have owned it.

Easy to Assemble

I bought this for my adult son. Although he has not yet used it, he was amazed with how simple it was to assemble. He says it is well built and he is looking forward to using it.

Just what I needed.

So far this little table has helped me up my wood trimming game. Even though I had to buy a new router because my porter-cable version didn’t fit, I’m still happy with this purchase. This was my first real attempt at using a router table so I didn’t wanna break the bank. For the cost and function it’s perfect for the beginner. Easy to assemble, easy to store in my limited space, and easy to use. If you are like me, a beginner, this is a good buy.

Very solid performer overall

There is plenty of plastic, but if you use this router table correctly, it can provide you with all kinds of versatility. I've used this to create roundovers for drawers, cut channels for drawer bottoms and as a jointer. The mounting plate didn't have holes for my full-size Kyobi router, so I had to drill my own. Manufacturing error in fence makes uneven cuts.

The two sliding guides in the fence are not level with the fence and do not meat up with eachother due to the molded plastic having a slightly protruding edge. The receiving side sits 1/32 of an inch out from the feeding side and neither side is perfectly square due to the plastic behind them so there will be a 1/32 inch wave for the last few inches every single cut you make. The fence is built unevenly and distorts cuts.

The two sides of the fence do not line up with each other due to the poorly made uneven molded plastic. The adjustable sections of the fence are made from cheap particle board which is not ideal even if they had been built flush with each other . The receiving side sticks out about 1/32 of an inch which causes a wave in EVERY SINGLE thing you cut in this table. Looks good, that it folx up makes it easier to haul. Miter guage is meh, dragging/binding in the channel Power Bar - Plugs don't work.

Well designed router table

I bought this table to use with my Dewalt DW618PK router. Set up and attachment of the router was straight foward and easy. I love the adjustable gap in the fence, much better than having to cut out a portion of the fence like I have seen on many older models. Allows for the smallest opening possible so any smaller workpieces stay properly aligned. Unlike other models, everything stows away in the accessory bins and it folds up nicely. Great for storing out of the way when not in use.

Overall good purchase.

Very happy with my purchase. Unpacking directions were good. The only negative is that once i installed my router bit, the fence wasn't straight. I have seen a couple of solutions online, which i will try.

Great value for money, poor customer service

The Router table works well, and is capable of precision routing. The power strip is excellent and convenient for quick control. Information about compatible routers is available only in the manual,- I had to purchase a new router in order to use the table. It proved impossible to find an alternate router mounting plate which should have been a lower cost option.

Glad I purchased it

So much better than trying to make do with mounting my router on a homemade table.... Sturdy and easy to use and adjust
