gets very hot, blade doesn't stay in the guide when making curved cuts, has lots of options for changing speed and cut type, also has easy blade installation and bevel/angle adjustment. But all the cons outweigh the pros, especially when it just flat out dies out of nowhere. Used for about 1 month, and today it slowed down and had a very strong burning smell and totally shut off about 3 mins into use. Can't decide to give it another chance with a direct replacement or use it as a credit towar...

Skill jig saw
Would Not RecommendOrdered on 7/29 and was delivered on 8/1. Upon opening the box the saw was thrown into the shipping box with out packing and when i opened the saw found out that it was USED AND RETURNED. The saw was full of saw dust and the blade was broken off in the saw. GREAT JOB LOWES, will be returning tomorrow. Will NEVER order anything from Lowes again.

A replacement for my trusty old jigsaw
Would RecommendI haven't bought a new jigsaw in 40 years and was pleasantly surprised when I bought this one. It has 3x the power, a light, and a blower. Changing the blade is a snap and I have absolutely no regrets. I hope it lasts as long as my last one!

Interchangeable Blades and Powerful.
Would RecommendAccepts both T and U shank blades. Cuts through a 2x4 easily. Light is nice. Easy to change blades. Powerful. I replaced a very old Skill jigsaw with this one, and I was able to keep using all my U shank blades. I was told at a competitor’s store that I would have to go to a pawn shop to buy a jigsaw that accepts U shank blades. I am glad I researched this fact and found it not to be true, as I have a lot of U shank blades. I recommend this product. It’s a keeper.
