SKIL surprises me with every product of their I purchase. The build quality is great, the price is super low, and they last for a long time. This is my 5th SKIL and its just as good as the others. Given the price, i dont know why you would buy anything else.

Cheap garbage
Would Not RecommendThe foot that holds the blade broke after the 3rd use. Lowes was willing to do a return with a Return Authorization from Skil but Skil wanted to send me the part to fix it myself. When I said I wouldn't, then Skil said I needed to jump through some of their hoops and get an authorization to take it to a technician.

Didn’t even last 5 months until it died
Would Not RecommendPurchased 6/19/24 - loved it until it just died. It hasn’t even been 5 months. Bought it for my husband for our home remodel. Absolutely loved it compared to our older jig saw. Went to use it the other day and it just died. Light turns on but that’s it. I saw other reviews that seem to have the same issue.
